The Challenge - Day 7

Posted 12th December 2016

After a tough day cycling 130km in 35 degrees yesterday, the team woke today having crossed the 600km mark!

But no rest today, with a 151km cycle from Kampong Thom To Siem Reap. By the end of today we had done over 700km in total and the 1,000km goal is really in sight.

The day began with a 30km cycle  through narrow country roads to the seventh-century temple of Sambor Preikuk.  before continuing by bike and vehicle to Roulous, a small village and collection of temples outside Siem Reap. Today also gave the team the first sight of the famous temples of Angkor.
