The Challenge - Day 8

At the end of Day 8, the penultimate day of the challenge, the team have travelled an incredible 905km in total and are now less than 100km from their goal!

Today, they departed Siem Reap to cycle 120km to Koh Ker, a remote archaeological site whose sculptures and temples have largely been swallowed up by the jungle. Halfway, they visited the ruined temple of Beng Mealea.

The route took the team through jungle and hilly terrain – it has recently been paved but still receives relatively little traffic, making it great for biking.
